PIR motion detector for luminaire installation

The passive infrared motion detector smartSWITCH 5DP 14f from Tridonic is suitable for luminaire installation. Thanks to its low-profile housing with dimensions of 21 x 30 mm, it can be used in tight installation conditions. The presence detector enables automatic switching on and off of luminaires with electronic ballasts and (max. 2) LED drivers.

Automatic switching on and off

The automatic switching on and off happens based on presence and light value. Thanks to the integrated Bright-out function, the luminaire does not need to be switched on if the brightness is sufficient. The delay time and the light value of the Bright-out function are adjustable via 2 potentiometers. The housing of the Tridonic PIR motion detector has IP20 protection.
