The HF-B 136/236 TL-D EII 220-240V 50 / 60Hz from Philips' HF-Basic EII range is an IP20-protected 1/2 electronic ballast for T8 fluorescent lamps which is suitable for luminaire installation. Its rated power is 36 watts.
The FL ECG is can be used as an entry-level model when converting from conventional to electronic ballasts. Additionally, it can be used in areas where the lighting should create a comfortable ambience or in which flicker-free light is needed. It is also suitable for DC emergency operation according to IEC / EN60598-22.
The HF-Basic has the energy classification Celma EEI A2 and is therefore particularly low-loss. It performs a flicker-free cold start in less than 0.5 seconds. After a voltage break or lamp replacement, an automatic restart is guaranteed.
The lifetime of the Philips FL ECG is 50,000 hours.
Ideal application areas of the HF-Basic are applications with undimmed lighting and with a very low switching frequency.
