The high-temperature NiCd battery pack 5D 55 from Tridonic is suitable for use in emergency lighting units according to the standard IEC 60598-222.
The battery pack contains high-temperature nickel-cadmium cells with a capacity of 4.5 Ah and 6V. It complies with the standard IEC 61951-2 (constant charging load test) and is suitable for constant high-temperature operation at 55°C.
Besides the good charging properties at high temperatures, you benefit from a high energy maintenance of the charged battery.
The NiCD 5D 55 battery pack has an integrated double-insulated cable of 1.0 m length and 1.0 mm² solid wire.
The expected lifetime of the NiCD battery pack is 4 years.
