Gira System 55 – the standard programme for flush-mounted installation

The Gira System 55 is the manufacturer's most widely used design programme and forms the basis for the majority of sockets in the WATT24 range. The Schuko sockets (Type F, 16 A, 250 V~) are supplied as inserts without a cover frame and can be combined with all standard System 55 frames – single or multi-gang.

For installation, versions with and without fixing claws are available. Sockets without claws (o.Kr.) are particularly suited to flush-mounted boxes with limited installation depth. All variants comply with DIN VDE 0620 and are approved for flush-mounted installation in Germany.

Gira TX44 – Schuko sockets with hinged lid

The Gira TX44 range adds sockets with an integrated hinged lid to the portfolio. This version provides mechanical contact protection and is particularly suited to areas where sockets are used infrequently but need to be reliable – for example in storage areas, workshops or plant rooms. TX_44 sockets are available in pure white, anthracite and aluminium and can also be fitted in System 55 frames.

Gira sockets IP44 – for damp locations and outdoor use

For installation in damp locations or protected outdoor areas, Gira offers Schuko sockets with protection rating IP44. They come as a complete system with sealing set and 1- or 2-gang frame and are splash-proof – suitable for bathrooms, exterior walls or wet commercial areas. The integrated hinged lid reliably protects the contacts against moisture even when not in use.
