IP66 protected EX luminaire for Zone 1 and 21
The explosion-proof and highly efficient KRATEX LED luminaire from ZALUX is ideally suited for use in EX zones 1 and 21 in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34 / EU. It has a nominal output of 40 watts and an efficiency of 125 lm / W. With its light color of 4000 K, the EX luminaire provides neutral white light. It has IP66 protection.
Explosion protection is an important and complex issue: human life may depend on it. ZALUX offers you safe, explosion-proof lighting with state-of-the-art LED technology. The KRATEX LED luminaire is suitable as standard illumination for use in hazardous areas where an explosive atmosphere persists for a short period. Ideal areas of application are the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, oil and gas sites, the food and agricultural industries or industrial facilities.
High quality materials for a long service life
The EX luminaire is made of high quality materials ensuring a long product life of 50,000 hours. The diffuser tube is made of UV-resistant polycarbonate. The housing ends are made of aluminum alloy with yellow polyurethane finish (RAL 1003). The EX LED luminaire has a NBR gasket. ZALUX offers a 5-year-warranty on the KRATEX.
A single cable gland with gasket is included in delivery. As optional accessories, you will also find in our shop an eye bolts bag for suspended mounting (item 10078101), fixing omegas for ceiling installation (item 10078102) and a double cable gland (item 10078104).
