Radio receiver (0-10V output + switching relay)
The small wireless receiver module wDALI RM8 0-10V PWM with 0-10 V output and switch-on relay from Lunatone is part of a wireless interface for the connection of electronic ballasts with PWM control input to a DALI line. The loads can then be switched on / off by DALI commands and dimmed, as the DALI dimming level is converted into a corresponding PWM signal (0% -100%).
Easy configuration via DALI cockpit software
The interface is DALI DT5 compatible. The second component required is a transmitter unit connected to the DALI line. The transmitter unit is directly powered via the DALI line ; the receiver is supplied by the mains. The interface module can be easily configured using the DALI Cockpit software tool.
The switching relay is used for additional switching on / off of the ECG power supply. The control of the relay contact is tied to the dimming value: If it is 0, the relay switches off, with every larger value the relay is switched on. The PWM output offers the advantage of fail-safe digital signal transmission compared to types with analog output voltage, suitable for electronic ballast with PWM control input (e.g. Meanwell HLG, HLN, NPF or LPF series).
