The compact DALI DT5 relay module RM8 PWM from Lunatone can be used to control and to switch electronic ballasts with a PWM control input. The DALI 8-bit direct power level is converted into a corresponding PWM signal (0-100%). The module is suitable for flush mounting.
The relay module offers the high noise immunity of digital signal transmission, suitable for electronic ballasts with PWM control input (e.g. Meanwell HLG, HLN, NPF or LPF series). It is also suitable for multiple ballasts (max. siking current 2mA).
The control of the relay contact is directly linked to the 8-bit direct arc power level : If the value is 0, the relay switches off, at any larger value it is switched on. The module is supplied directly via the DALI line, so that no additional supply is required.
The Lunatone interface has a DALI address and can be assigned to groups and scenes. The DALI input and the PWM output are galvanically isolated.
