BEG Brück Electronic

Founded in 1975, the family-owned company with its headquarters in Lindlar, Germany, 15 foreign branches and more than 260 employees stands for innovation and quality “Made in Germany”. At that time, the focus was still on the development and production of emergency lights and, somewhat later, group production for emergency lighting systems. 

In 1979, a fire destroyed the entire company building. Both production and administration had to be completely rebuilt.
Just over 10 years after the company was founded, in 1986, B.E.G. was one of the first German companies to start manufacturing automatic lights and motion detectors. The LUXOMAT brand was registered. From then on, B.E.G. primarily manufactured motion detectors that were used to increase security in outdoor areas. 

In 1999, the first B.E.G. branch was founded in France. Since then, numerous other branches have been opened, offering customers the best possible support with trained staff in all matters relating to building automation. 

In 2000, B.E.G. also began developing and producing presence detectors and brightness sensors. Intelligent control products are more in demand than ever due to the rapid progress in building automation, so the company continues to expand its presence detection division. 

In 2007, the current European sales and logistics center with attached development department and production facility was finally put into operation. 

In 2011, the 4-hectare site was extended by several thousand m² in order to meet the high demand for motion detectors, presence detectors, sensors and actuators. Adjacent to this center, an administration and training center was built in 2014. 

In 2017, the former administrative headquarters of B.E.G. was converted into a research and development center with its own lighting laboratory. In this way, the company guarantees to further expand its focus on networked products (e.g. DALI, KNX and LON) and to respond to market developments and requirements at the present time. 

In 2020, just in time for the company's anniversary, the central warehouse in Lindlar was expanded by 2,000 m²; in 2021, the semi-automated warehouse system was introduced to support the entire logistics process.
