The high-temperature NiCd battery pack 4D CON from Tridonic is suitable for use in emergency lighting units according to the standard IEC 60598-222.
The battery pack contains high-temperature nickel-cadmium cells with a capacity of 1.8 Ah and 4.8V. It is suitable for constant high-temperature operation, whereby the temperature depends on the used emergency lighting unit (refer to respective emergency control gear datasheet).
Besides the good charging properties at high temperatures, you benefit from a high energy maintenance of the charged battery.
The NiCD 4D CON battery pack has an integrated double-insulated cable of 1.0 m length and 1.0 mm² solid wire.
The expected lifetime of the NiCD battery pack is 4 years. Tridonic offers a 1-year guarantee on the battery pack.
