DALI sensor for DALI systems
The light sensor DALI LS from Lunatone is used to control the intensity and brightness in DALI lighting control systems. It can optionally be used as an active light control unit or for monitoring purposes. The configuration of the sensor is very simple via the DALI bus, using the DALI Cockpit software.
As an active light control unit, the sensor can act as a threshold value switch with hysteresis or as an ambient light-dependent brightness controller. In this case, the module, in its function as a threshold value switch, can send various DALI commands (such as ON, OFF, RECALL MIN / MAX, GO TO SCENE X, etc.) to the effective range. As an adaptive light level-dependent brightness control, the effective range and brightness setpoint can be specified for the module. Single and group addresses or broadcast can be used for the effective range.
For ceiling installation
The compact module is installed in the ceiling. Thanks to a DALI double clamp, installation is very easy. The Lunatone light sensor is supplied directly via the DALI line, so that no additional connection is necessary.
The delivery condition makes a very simple application possible: the rotary switch on the back serves to specify the brightness setpoint. The effective range is broadcast. In addition, there is a mode for adaptive tracking of the brightness setpoint (as of firmware 4.14). The combination of several DALI LS in a DALI circuit is possible, provided that they control different effective ranges.
