Using the Lunatone DALI repeater, the length of a DALI control line can be extended from up to 300m to up to 600m. The enhancement and transmission of the DALI signal is bidirectional. The repeater is suitable for DIN rail mounting.
The DALI circuits are galvanically separated. In singlemaster operation, either a radially arranged network layout or a cascaded system mounting can be operated. In multimaster mode there is a limited possibility for cascading (series wiring).
The maximum number of DALI devices in the entire network is 64, whereby the devices can be distributed arbitrarily to the subnets.
