The dimmable electronic ballast QTi 1X28/54 DIM from the QUICKTRONIC DIM T5 for T5 / TC-L lamps is suitable for installation in luminaires of protection class I. It can be used, for example, in the industry or in public buildings, in open-plan offices, corridors or storage rooms. It is also suitable for use in emergency lighting systems according tp IEC 61347-2-3. The maximum power is 55 watts.

The OSRAM EVG has the same luminous flux witch constant voltage and alternating voltage. Thanks to its warm lamp-start in less than 0.6 seconds, it is particularly suitable for applications with motion detectors. After lamp replacement, an automatic restart is performed. The cut-off technology of the FL ECG ensures a maximum efficiency. It also fulfills the MINERGIE standard due to its very low standby consumption.

The FL ECG can be dimmed via a 1-10 V interface in a dimming range of 1-100% luminous flux. Amalgam lamps can be dimmed without flickerig or a reduced lifespan.

The QUICKTRONIC DIM 5 performs an automatic safety shutdown in case of lamp defect and at the end of lamp life. For high housing temperatures, the FL ECG has a thermomangement function as overtemperature protection. The lifetime is up to 100,000 hours at a permissible housing temperature of 65 ° C and a maximum failure rate of 10%.
