The electronic ballast for fluorescent lamps QT-FIT5 3X14,4X14 from the Quicktronic Fit 5 series by OSRAM is suitable for class I luminaires. It is also suitable for emergency lighting systems.
Ideal application areas include, for example, open-plan offices, corridors or storage rooms, public buildings or strip lighting. The FL ECG can also be used for the modernization of existing systems. Thanks to the perfect lamp warm start with filament preheating, it can also be used well in applications with motion detectors.
The FL ECG ensures a long lamp life and no adverse effect from frequent on/off switching. After lamp replacement, an automatic restart is performed. In the case of defective lamps and at the end of lamp life, an automatic safety shutdown occurs.
The OSRAM QT-FIT5 3X14,4X14 has a VDE/VDE EMC certified system. Due to cut-off technology, it is very energy efficient: it has the Energy Efficiency Index EEI : A2.
The lamp operation is in accordance with EN 60929 ; the safety regulations according to EN 61347-2-3 are fulfilled. The housing is IP20 protected. The lifetime of the FL ECG is 50,000 hours.
