Modular System for Maximum Safety
The MCT Brattberg system essentially consists of two components: robust frames (RGB rectangular, RGP round) and packing or filler blocks made from the synthetic elastomer Lycron. Compression pressure creates a multifunctional seal that not only provides fire protection up to S90, but is also watertight up to 10 bar and explosion-proof up to 40 bar. Installation is straightforward even with cables already in place.
The dimensions of 120.5 mm internal width, 60 mm depth and 10 mm material thickness have become the global industry standard. Individual frames can be combined into larger frame groups. Packing and filler blocks cover cable diameters from 3.5 to 101.5 mm, enabling maximum flexibility for new installations and retrofits.
Certified Quality for Critical Applications
MCT Brattberg is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management systems. The systems meet requirements according to DIN 4102, IECEx standard and ATEX directive and have been awarded by numerous international institutes. Special E-series offer additional protection against electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and electronic sabotage. In Germany, distribution is handled by Wichmann Brandschutzsysteme with comprehensive technical advice and training.
