The smart home wireless door / window sensor by Zipato is an intelligent security device that can transmit via a Z-Wave network and via radio waves . In the Z-Wave network communications, the door / window sensor can be connected to any Z-Wave gateway. The radio frequency varies in different countries or areas.

Each door / window sensor has a unique ID code. If you want to add or remove the sensor from the gateway, just place it in the Z-Wave network range of the gateway. Then you can easily find the sensor through the device ID code. When the communication with the Z-Wave gateway can send the message but not receive any messages.

When alarm is triggered, door / window sensor will send messages to gateway; then the Z-Wave gateway will display the current status of door sensor. At the same time, the sensor can connect with other devices through the Z-Wave gateway. When the door or window is open, the sensor will be triggered and then connect to other devices to achieve the goal of security protection. The sensor is battery operated and can be installed easily on the window or on the door. Zipato offers a 1-year warranty on the sensor.
