The 1/2 flame electronic ballast HF-E 1/2 58 TL-D II 220-240V 50 / 60Hz from Philips’ smart and reliable HF Essential II series is the most cost-effective solution for the reliable operation of T8 and T5-C fluorescent lamps. It is also the ideal entry-level product for users of electromagnetic systems who want to take advantage of the benefits provided by electronic ballasts.
The HF-Essential II complies with energy efficiency class A2 and its robust design meets all relevant international safety and performance standards. It is suitable for luminaires of protection class I and II.
The advantages of the FL-ECG include its average nominal service lifetime of over 45,000 hours (at an ambient temperature of 50°C), the optimized lamp preheating for at least 25,000 switch-on/switch-off operations without lamp replacement and its CE, KEMA and CCC conformity marks.
The HF-Essential II is the ideal choice for a wide range of new and retrofit applications in the commercial sector, including general surface mounting and office lighting, car parks, warehouses and other applications. It can for example ideally be used in office buildings, hospitals, supermarkets, department stores and schools.
The multi-power technology of the FL ECG enables the precise operation of several lamp types with different wattages. In addition, the electronic ballast has a mono/dual function for operation with 1 or 2 lamps. You benefit from maximum reliability in system operation.
The Philips HF-Essential II is suitable for DC operation and emergency lighting systems. It has an extended lamp life in frequent switching applications without replacement of lamps, e.g. when using occupacy sensors or motion detectors with 15 switches per day.
