The 2-channel electronic ballast QTP-OPTIMAL 2X18...40 for TC-L/F, T5 and T8 lamps from the QUICKTRONIC PROFESSIONAL OPTIMAL series by OSRAM is suitable for installation in luminaires of protection class I and II. The maximum rated power is 40 watts.
Ideal application areas are the industry, open-plan offices, corridors or storage rooms, public buildings, sports halls and factories or light strips. The FL ECG is also suitable for emergency lighting systems according to EN 50172 / DIN VDE 0108-100. In addition, it can be used for the modernization of existing systems.
The FL ECG ensures a long lamp life and has a high impact resistance. After lamp replacement, the device is restarted automatically. In case of lamp failure and at the end of lamp life, an automatic safety shutdown is performed.
The electronic ballast for fluorescent lamps has a VDE / VDE EMC-certified system. Its cut-off technology ensures maximum energy efficiency: the FL ECG has the high energy efficiency index EEI: A2 BAT. The perfect lamp warm start with preheating also makes it ideal for applications with motion detectors.
The lamp operation is in accordance with EN 60929; the safety regulations according to EN 61347-2-3 are fulfilled.
The lifetime of the OSRAM QTP-OPTIMAL is up to 100,000 hours with a maximum housing temperature of 65 ° C and a maximum failure rate of 10%.
